The Greater San Diego Hunter-Jumper Association is dedicated to promoting the development of Hunter-Jumper competition in the San Diego area. The Association provides for the organization of competition between riders, horses and professionals across shows. Our aim is to provide overall goals for competitions during each show season and provide for recognition for achievements during the season. The association also sponsors a set of medal round competitions which culminates at the GSDHJA Championship Show at the end of the season. It also sponsors a once a year awards banquet honoring winning and achieving riders at all levels.
Note that most shows (except the year end Championship Show and the Wine Country Show) are run by other organizations who then forward show results to the GSDHJA for point keeping tallies. You can see a current list of GSDHJA recognized shows and show manager contact information on this page.
