Year End Achievement Division Prize Reminder
Reminder for Year End Achievement Division Prizes:
All Achievement Divisions (except Leadline) will now earn the same year end prizes as all Hunter, Jumper & Equitation Divisions.
(Starting in 2024, all past GSDHJA year-end champion winners in Achievement Divisions are ineligible to accrue points in the same division the following year.)

Medal Requirements:
Medal Finals Qualifications for Champ Show:
Due to the number of shows that were cancelled from rain & the VS Virus this year, the GSDHJA board has elected to relax the qualification requirements for all Medal Finals classes at Champ Show. If you have competed in a particular medal class during the 2023 season, you are now qualified to compete in that medal finals regardless of how many points were earned. Note: all cross entry restrictions will still apply.
Point Correction Deadlines:
Below is a reminder about the deadlines for any point inquiries or corrections copied from the GSDHJA Rulebook. Please submit any inquiries to points@gsdhja.org before the cut off date as we must abide strictly to these deadlines in fairness to all competitors and don’t want to see anyone miss out on their well deserved points!
POINT STANDINGS DEADLINE –
Deadline for submitting year end point corrections/inquiries are as follows:
JULY 1st – for all shows from the start of the season through May 30th.
SEPTEMBER 1st – for all shows from June 1st through August 30th.
OCTOBER 1st – for all shows from Sept 1st through Sept 30th.
Members have 10 days upon the posting of the Championship Show Results to submit corrections/inquiries regarding championship show points unless the Board of Directors elects to extend this date. After that time, THE POINTS WILL STAND.
Waivers:
Anyone wishing to submit a waiver for a horse or rider needing to request an exception to compete at this years champ show must email their request to points@gsdhja.org by September 23, 2023 for consideration by the GSDHJA board.

Don’t forget to check your points!
All champ show points have been uploaded. There are nine days left to contest any points issues, so all points will be finalized on Oct 20th. All points prior to champ show are already final.
Just a reminder to receive a year end prize, the member must be in good standing & have competed in a minimum of 3 shows per division or for achievement awards they must have received the minimum number of points per division. The year end awards list will be published after we have verified these requirements.
