The night before starting around 6pm, your trainer should be signing you up into your classes. Once they’ve done that, you can see exact order of go and approximate times for your rides. Click here to see Next Day/Same Day Schedules (or use the Champ Show menu).
Please remember that unexpected delays or faster than expected rounds happen, so keep in touch with the back gate during the day rather than rely solely on the schedule.
Below is a reminder about the deadlines for any point inquiries or corrections copied from the GSDHJA Rulebook. Please submit any inquiries to points@gsdhja.org before the cut off date as we must abide strictly to these deadlines in fairness to all competitors and don’t want to see anyone miss out on their well deserved points!
POINT STANDINGS DEADLINE –
Deadline for submitting year end point corrections/inquiries are as follows:
JULY 1st – for all shows from the start of the season through May 30th.
SEPTEMBER 1st – for all shows from June 1st through August 30th.
OCTOBER 1st – for all shows from Sept 1st through Sept 30th.
Members have 10 days upon the posting of the Championship Show Results to submit corrections/inquiries regarding championship show points unless the Board of Directors elects to extend this date. After that time, THE POINTS WILL STAND.

In an effort to limit last minute changes to GSDHJA rules and qualifications late in the season and with the recent stall in competitions due to the EHV-1 outbreaks we would like to announce the 2022 A Show Rule and the requirements for earning Year End Awards. We hope this allows all of our members to plan accordingly for their 2022 show season with no surprises!
To qualify for the 2022 Championship Show you must compete in at least 2 county shows for the horse in hunter or jumper divisions & at least 2 county shows for the rider in equitation divisions, medals, and achievement divisions.
For a horse or rider to earn a year end award they must compete in a minimum of any 3 GSDHJA recognized shows in the 2022 season.

All Jr/Am divisions 3′ & above and All Professional Classes at the 2021 GSDHJA Championship Show will be open to any horses that are otherwise eligible for that division and have at least 1 point in ANY GSDHJA division throughout the 2021 season prior to the show. Rider, Owner and Trainer must be current GSDHJA members.
However, horse or rider may only be eligible for a 2021 year-end award if they have accumulated at least 1 point in that specific division prior to the 2021 Championship Show.

GSDHJA Flat Medal
GSDHJA Adult Medal
GSDHJA 3′ Medal
GSDHJA Jr/Am Medal
Rider must be otherwise eligible for that medal and have earned 1 point in ANY class at a 2021 GSDHJA rated show. Rider, Owner and Trainer must be current GSDHJA members.
Eligibility Requirements for:
GSDHJA Stirrup Cup Medal
GSDHJA Green Rider Medal
GSDHJA Mini Medal
GSDHJA Child/Adult Medal
Rider must be otherwise eligible for that medal and have earned 1 point in the respective GSDHJA Medal Class they are entering for Finals during the 2021 Season. Rider, Owner and Trainer must be current GSDHJA members.
2020 Year End Awards will be presented at the SCHC March 19-21 horse show now located at the Del Mar Fairgrounds!
